We received this in less than an hour. This was at a local Ford dealer. One customer drove in for protechtion only to drive her car between two display vehicles. Unbeknownst to her, they were up on stands and she promptly went swimming.

Sam, I was at the cruise night at Hooters in Bensalem last night (got to meet GTO Don too) and I left about 10 minutes before the skies opened up. I got home and got the car in the garage with less than 5 minutes to spare. But we had almost 3 straight hours of thunderstorms last night and today looks like a repeat. Nah, it's been pretty nice so far this summer. I've only used the AC for 1-1/2 days. This week coming up looks tough though. I know it's getting ugly when the salt doesn't come out of the salt shaker and the sugar is one big lump!

Wow! It was 56 degrees just last Sunday night and you still had your AC on? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif Just pokin fun at ya. Everyone in my neighborhood runs their AC from May-Oct it seems. I'm never in the house so I won't pay for cooling it when ceiling fans and window fans do the trick.

Sam, We are up on a hill along Lake Erie and never have a problem. Low areas here were hit bad saturday and thursday night. It was very sad to see peoples homes and belongs destroyed. Today News helicopters were filming our area. Mark

Yeah Mark, I saw how much rain there was along Lake Erie and that was amazing! We had a lousy summer last year with a lot of rain and this year looks like it will top that. But, my lawn is nice and green! And it does keep the temps down when the ground is soft with vegetation. I was predicting a drought for us this summer, now you know why I don't gamble!

You guys are making feel bad ! I was just going to jump in the pool with a lite breeze off the ocean and its sunny and high 80's with low humidity. Pretty soon we will be buying oranges from the North.

93 again here today! The equator is moving north. I am thinking about planting some cactus and an orange tree on my deck. You guys will be coming north for the winter. Yup, in the 90's and I just got done mowing the lawn then going for a 1-1/2 hour mountain bike ride. Time for lunch and then I'm back out to cut down a juniper tree! Then I'll kick back and relax out on the river in my boat. At least there's a nice breeze today.

You should put in your application now for next year's annual Ragbraii bicycle ride in the state of Iowa. Just completed yesterday as 15,000 riders from around the world completed the 7 day journey from one end of the state to the other. Temps this week held pretty steady in the mid 90's with dewpoints often 70 or above. Lance Armstrong was among this year's riders for a couple days.

Just thought I'd mention it to those that find fun in misery. Seriously, it is highly touted and riders have been coming back for years. It's now so popular they have to award the rights to ride via a lottery system each year.
