I was Invited to the show and it was only 1 hour away and the Perfect Opportunity to take the 3 cars!! My friend Tom Hartman lives only 20 minutes away and he helped me with the cars. The Hotel was first class for Ohio. There was a Great Corvette display: L-88's and acouple of big tank Corvette's, nicely restored '61 Corvette race car. I thought there would be more Yenko Camaro's. As for my Spots that's where I was directed by the show to park, there were only 6 spots for the Yenko Camaro's, Chevelle's & Novas and I took up 3 of the spots. It was just a nice 1 day show and so close for me to get the 3 cars there.

I too thought there would be alot more cars (Yenko's etc.). It really was a great hotel & setting. The bronze '68 Camaro is NOT a real MOTION car but the owner is the first one to say that it is a Replica Motion. We talked to him & his wife both very nice people. Don't know how many cars but alot of Stingers. The Corvette Display was Great.

I agree with both Steves. Mark Hassett is a great guy...and his cars look wonderful.
Mark, there is no need to apologize or even waste any effort trying to defend yourself against the 'few' guys that have 'issues' on the other site...who apparently have nothing better to do with their time. Kase, don't worry about posting the pics...they were awesome. You had no idea that there were a 'few' people with some 'big' problems. I'm sure they think it's hilarious that you were caught in the middle of this. Like I said before I consider your dad to be a great guy. Tom's Yenko Camaro did have black stripes. The reason I asked is because Tom was gracious enough to allow me to propose to my wife in it at a show a few years back before he sold it. At SCR1, not only was she there in person, but drove her Pink Corvette to the event. Not hard to spot in the parking lot, as not only was it pink, but on the hood was painted a mural of Marilyn Monroe. Spending time with Donna Mae is always a treat. Below is a photo from SCR1. Left to right, Donna Mae, Ed Lowther and Mrs. Don (Hope) Yenko. All three were very entertaining. Ed should have been a stand up comedian with his stories about Don, Zora Duntov and racing some of the rarest cars ever built. Ed passed away a few months after SCR1. Hope is one of the nicest and most gracious persons I have ever met.
