3,600 mile 1970 1/2 Z28

The second generation Camaro's price is certainly getting up there. They are asking $89,000.00 for this one. If money was no issue, I'd love to own it.

That is one stunning example isn't it Nick! $89,000 is steep but this car is gorgous!
That interior is beautiful... all style options I have on my '70 Camaro...
same options I would purchase if bought one of these new in '70 too!

I just don’t see what all of the fuss is over this car. It is NOT a Survivor by any means. It is just a low mileage Z with a
Nice Color Combo that has been flipped more times then I care to count... Nothing More… Nothing Less…

I agree; It is a beautiful car.
I just wish it would find a permanent home already instead of being passed around like a
K+A Hooker. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

A quote from the web site..

"This Z was a week old when it was taken to Strickler-Jenkins for race prep. Almost a year later, https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif when the original owner got the car back from its "tune-up" he raced the car on the street and track."

Wow! I woulda been https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/mad.gif if somebody had my new car for a year!!

It's a gorgeous car, though! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif

Chuck,

If you get a chance E-mail the dealer and get a close up of the Speedo.... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif There is a reason the dealer is not posting a picture and as I recall this was discussed over at the second generation site years ago as well.

Hey no offense - not trying to go any place with it pertaining to you. A dealer is currently asking big $$ for it and questions were raised in the past - that is all.

Here is the thread in question: http://www.nastyz28.com/forum/showth...735&page=3

As you may notice I was not critical of the car at all on the Z28 site nor did I post in the entire thread there but I saw the Photo then and had the same concern, that is all.

In conclusion moderator locked it up real quick on page 4 when the posts started to get even slightly critical, so I think the car was treated fairly.

Have a look at post's #43 and #44. Pictures from the thread are 404...

404 is computer sequence assigned for "file not found" so if it is 404 the link is missing.

That was one of those stories that one of the former owners fertilized and threw water on to make it grow...typical. Don did an awsum job detailing that car !! Are your paint code initials still on it Donny ?

They should be Bob. I put them in a spot where you would pretty much have to take the front off again but ya never know I guess. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif
