1970 Yenko Deuce
We are considering selling our 1970 Yenko Deuce. Original owners, we bought this car at the Yenko dealership in Canonsburg. Car is in very good condition but will need restored. Does not have original paint, carb, intake, or shifter. Have had several really good offers but don't want to jump into anything. Any input appreciated.

Our ads require a price.

Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce
Isn't the posting really to seek advice on what a fair price should be? ~ Pete

Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce
PeteLeathersac makes a good point. If it were a regular on the site we would require a price but this is the orig. owners. Any opinions on if we should make a exception for orig. owners ? I know Marlin has some pics of the car. Without posting what offers have been made it might be a good exercise to see what people think it is worth.

Any opinions on if we should make a exception for orig. owners ? [/ QUOTE ] I think there should be an exception Charley, since they are the original owners of their Yenko Deuce. You don't see this everyday, especially on a Supercar. They just want to make sure that they get a fair price, which is understandable. |

Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce
I would move this thread to the SuperCar/MuscleCar Discussion Forum.
He will get more viewers & input there and it wouldn't be fair to the people in the past here who we tell to post a price now or else. Once he considers a serious selling price,he can start a new topic here in the Cars For Sale section. |
Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce
Agree with Rick, but it should go in the Yenko Forum so things are at least somewhat organized for future searches.

Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce
I agree with mr70. Owner is considering selling his car and this thread should be moved to the SuperCar/MuscleCar discussion forum where they will receive the input requested as well as any other discussions regarding this car that, based on the past, will most likely arise. When they feel comfortable and decide to actually list the car for sale with a price, then it should be in this section. Making exceptions just opens the door for all kinds of cars and then parts as well as price seekers. Just like Jerry's M's Camaro thread the other day. Let's be consistent with our posting requirements and make sure this car is really for sale.

Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce
A little more info about the car would be helpful too. Does it have the original drivetrain? How much rust is trunk, floor pans body panels? What is the condition of the drivetrain?

Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce
Hi Marlin, It was good to "see a familiar face." Thanks for putting up the pics. I'm trying to get this post off the classifieds and into discussion. Didn't mean to cause such a stir but am new to this stuff. Thanks again, Linda

Hi Linda,
Only a moderator can move a thread at their discretion, so don't try too hard. |
Re: 1970 Yenko Deuce
