For Sale 1967 Yenko

1967 Yenko Camaro SY-742. This car needs a complete resto. Org. sheet metal, doors ,front fenders, rear Quarters & glass {except drivers glass}.Bullet proof paper work. The paper work shows stock # also shows car sold from Yenko to Barford Chevy in ST. Louis, mo. signed by M.C. Yenko. The car was sold at Don's cost to Barford. I feel this car was sold with the org. 396-375 motor not a 427. Have tracked all owners down & have talked to two of them. Car has no motor or trans. I have acomplete 12-bolt 67 rear end dated before the car it is not the org. rear end. Have alot of nos parts to go with car. Info on this car is here on the site under Yenko thread telling all the factory history. I talked to the second owner and he told me the car also came with power disc brakes, 4:10 gears and am-fm radio from the factory. Enclosed is copy of COPO connection certificate. Kim, what hood and engine does the second owner say that car had when he owned it? It looks like an SS hood in the first pic from the side, but the scan is a little blurry...can you tell from the original pic? Looks great in '68! Thanks, Mark

Long story, But when he got it the motor was a 283 and steel hood but not the org. hood. It had a standard hood. I have tried to call him today to ask more questions he's not home.

Kim, many thanks for the warm hospitality yesterday. For those that don't know Kim personally, he is a true gentleman and a man who's word really means something. The car is heading to Atlanta and will be restored and I'm sure will be at a future SCR.

ps: Kim's '70 Harrell Camaro IS painted the original color. I personally saw a section of the original paint that Kim had left in a hidden spot on the car when it was restored. Depending on the lighting, the color changes dramatically!
