1970 L78 Nova
1970 L78 M21, 3.55, AM/FM, body side mouldings and Window trim, Fathom Blue w/Black Bench, sport wheels with polyglass'
This car appears to have all the original born with drivetrain. All the components like alt, dist carb ect are original non restamped date coded correct parts. The car has been driven only 3,000 miles since 1988 and kept in a climate controlled environment. No smog, has headman headers with corvair turbo mufflers and hurst super comp shifter. The car has no apparent body damage or panel replacement. It is documented with vintage pictures, original protecto plate and warranty book as well as chain of ownership. The car looks great and runs even better https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif It is getting very difficult to find original drivetrain /sheet metal/documented cars. $65,000.00/trades, no e-pals, only qualified principals need inquire. No pics untill the weekend. |

The latest one in my barn is 7/2....Not sure when the production ended for 70 L78 Novas but it couldn't have been much later??? wilma https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/scholar.gif |

Re: 1970 L78 Nova
We need to see the GP too... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif

Re: 1970 L78 Nova
Pete.... yes, the Poncho is very cool. It's out at my warehouse so I won't be able to take pics until after B-J.
It was a race car almost from day one, probably a dealer prepared "Super Duty"....run in the mid sixties in the Chicago area under the name "Two Ton Faker". It was then bought from the original owner and restored to perfection by a collector in Ohio. He ran it in Nostalgia Super Stock for a few years. It currently has a new 438ci with dual fours on an ...859 intake. I love those "post" cars. Paul |
Re: 1970 L78 Nova

Re: 1970 L78 Nova
I'll be at B/J Thursday-Sunday.
|
Re: 1970 L78 Nova
Belair.... The guy I bought it from hasn't given that info yet...he said most of the loose parts were wrapped in newspaper dated in 1968, 1969, apparently when it was put in a garage.

Re: 1970 L78 Nova
Stefano... you can reach me on 512-633-1105 at B-J (or anytime).

Re: 1970 L78 Nova
I'll have to double check. It is something like 108,000 miles. We just had new original style rear leafs and an original and detailed rear sway bar put on the car.
The underside is very clean. I'll get some pics soon. |

New Price; $67,500.00 [/ QUOTE ] Why the increase? Is that how it works, if it doesn't sell at the first asking price, raise it??? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif |
Re: 1970 L78 Nova
it sounds like additional work and or parts have been installed on the nova, therefore a new list price. jmo
