I don't know this beautiful car but I recognize the email. Isn't this the owner of Future Classics in NJ?
I sold him a Z/28 in 2001.

Dave what Z did i buy from you? This car has never been for sale to the public and has been in my private collection. Selling to purchase a 3 car Hemi Collection. Mark! The crossram on the car was on since the early 90's was not just installed.

YES

The hood was put on in the early 90's along with the Original GM Crossram. The hood was by a John Brower from Sterling Corvette and Camaro. Hood pins and prop rod were common on these cars. The cars originality and authanticity is garunteed.

Can you address the questions asked by the posts about your car. If you care to keep them private, please PM me. Nice car, and I'm not kicking tires. POP picture, info on options etc. Whatever you have that makes the car a no brainer as you say. Thank You.

My bad, your post of "guaranteed authenticity" just made me think of "no brainer". No offense. I was kinda waiting for replies from questions to be posted on the board.

Re: 1969 Z28 Cortez Silver 22 Options Crossram

Does anyone know where this car is now?

I owned it for 9 years and regretfully sold it in late 2005 or early 2006. That's when it hit this post and became a trailer queen. I put the hood, crossram, and hood pins on it, researched and wrote the history of the car. I spoke with everyone I could find that ever owned it including the original owner. I also replaced the trunk floor. I kept it as I bought it and drove it.

I still have all the dates and numbers from the car. It drives best on straight 112 octane with open pipes. Top end is in the neighborhood of 140-150 mph due to the 3:55 rear.

P.S. If it now has a window sticker or build sheet, they're fake. It only came with the P.O.P.

Any information about where it is now would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone have any updated information on this car? I am almost positive that its my old car that I owned back in the late 90's. I then sold it to a gentlemen near the Philadelphia Pa area. He then did a complete concourse restoration and added the GM crossram set up and hood. A buddy of mine then saw it go through a Mecum auction up in Chicago around 2006. I have sent a PM to the guy that made the last post on this old thread back in 2014 but not sure if he is still around. This was a very unique and rare 69 Z that was all original and came from the factory with some very rare and cool options including the fiber optics. I was just at a car show this weekend and met the 2nd owner, I think I was the 5th. He and I were reminiscing about it and of course both of us kicking ourselves for ever letting it go. He would like to potentially buy it back if it were ever to become available. I wish the old photo bucket pictures in this thread were still available.
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure it was a Norwood car and the description from the first link from Mecum sounds exactly like it. To bad it has no pictures or a VIN. Thank you!!
