Still building 12 of them and the price is 427K. Also building a Phase 3 without the wild body that is about 190K. They really pulled it off. This car is about as over the top as it can get. Congrats Joel. I heard that GM is giving Joel a award for the car. We need one of these at the reunion. https://www.yenko.net/attachments/168935-a041.jpg

I am off to Vegas this morning, and if I get time will go by the SEMA show and see the car in person. Love to rip through the gears in that thing. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif

I am not knocking the car, but why didn't they paint the grill surround? It looks right out of the box. At that level of detail and craftsmanship it looks incomplete..BKH

Geez..What do ya want for $427,000? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif Paint the grill surround and headlight doors red, and toss those JC Whitney spinners and its a pretty cool looking hot rod. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif I too would like to know where the "Baldwin" came from... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif

It's pretty simple... It's called Marketing. You guys here wanted to establish that Baldwin/Motion cars are worth more then just plain Motion cars... so the Marketing response is to make them Baldwin/Motion.

Re: new 69 Motion at SEMA

I hope this goes well for them.

I would like to see them do a new Maco as well... although, given the amount of interest shown for the various Motion C3 Corvette's, I guess it would end up being the Phase III GT that they would do a new version of.

He can call them whatever he wants to call them. Looks pretty sinister with the black grill..I wouldn't paint it..

I want to see the "regular" Phase III priced @ $190, would like to see how retro/original it looks. SULLY

Re: new 69 Motion at SEMA

Well at $427k (funny how it's "427", or am i the only one that caught that), i can't see alot of people lining up for it.

Re: new 69 Motion at SEMA

I like this paint scheme more than the photoshopped pic.

Rear tires need a higher profile but other than that it's nice.

Re: new 69 Motion at SEMA

What shop actually built the car? Are the RS headlight doors functional? What kind of rear end is that? Lots of work in that car... gonna take some effort to build another 11 like that if that's really the plan.

Something tells me Joel and company already these cars accounted for. How can they build 4.5+ million dollars of cars and hope they sell?

While visiting with Joel, he mentioned that he had received several requests to build other Motion cars, but that would depend on how well this project is received by the buying public.

If you base your observations on the Promotion and Debut of this project, I'd say this was based on strong buyer commitments before they opened the barn door-------

Re: new 69 Motion at SEMA

I'm sure. Not the sort of thing you go into blind. From the things that I've heard, that red one was for Sony. I'm sure they will get at least 2 commitments from the show. Hopefully at least one is a participating member of this board https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif
