Got Rich from PRC coming down to pick up the 69 Z and make her all new again..question for you guys,When I got the car she was deep maroon with white stripes but the real color is suppose to be Hugger Orange. I will never sell this car, Original X33D80 with ZL-2 hood. Im leaving the LT-1 in it, also Lakewood Traction bars, basically keeping it Day 2. Big question is, Keep it Maroon or Make it Orange? Any thoughts?

I vote for Hugger Orange. It's the original color AND it's a great color too.

Funny, I've been looking at a maroon Z for a few days now. Please, please paint your car Hugger Orange. BTW. Hugger Orange and an Argent Silver grille look awesome!!

My vote is for Hugger Orange too...perhaps the BEST color for a '69 Z/28.When I decided to change mine from Frost Green (59-59),I would have painted it Hugger Orange in a heartbeat except for the fact that my '70 Z/28 is that color.Besides,I always wanted a Yellow '69 so I decided to paint it 2003 Z06 Millenium Yellow w/Blk stripes and it makes me smile everytime I look at it.

Sam,
Just because someone else painted it maroon doesn't mean your choices are limited to maroon or the original color. (even though you're used to it). Your choice now is either "any color" or the original color. It's your car - it's up to you. You plan to keep it forever, so you don't need a lecture about which choice would make it worth more in the long run....
