For those who haven't seen a post on the SCR8 link, YES the new and VERY, VERY lovely Mrs Cumby will attend this year's Gibb show! Vickie is a winderful lady; I hope all who attend will have a chance to introduce yourselves to her.

Hey everybody just wanted to fill you in on what,s going on in MACOMB!!!!!!!
We have been getting alot of people contacting us and thanking us for moving the FRED GIBB Cruise Night to a LARGER venue.I know that we will have some growing pains this year because some people may go to the former location and expect the big cruise night there. Fact of the matter is THE FRED GIBB MEMORIAL CRUISE NIGHT is being held in Macomb, ILL.............
I want to thank everyone who has told me that they are coming to MACOMB and I promise not to disapoint anyone.
Hope to here from somemore of you before the event.

D.C., you know both I and "Hot Rod Hilliard" will be there. We are also bringing many members of the Mid-Iowa Camaro Club with us. We HOPE to be bringing over a dozen or so cars ! ! !

Well, we still have reservations in Macomb for Fri. & Sat. nights, but my car isn't out of the shop yet. We'll just have to see what happens.

Someone said there is a car show coming up in LaHarpe. The show is starting to come together. I have been told the weather will be clear and "cool". We have 130+ preregistered cars. Hopefully everyone will have a good time. the jury is still out on the https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif, we will have to wait and see. From Springfield? Watch for us on the road. We're taking the Chevelle (sYc on the trailer door), a couple of friends are taking their #'s matching '69 Z-28 and a fresh '68 Chevelle, and I hear Don Stowers is headed to LaHarpe (from Springfield area now) with an Orange Y car. Then, of course, Annie Hartweg will be going with her Grecian Green Gibb Nova!

Hoping the weather is not terribly hot, as being from Seattle I'm just not accustomed to all the high temps and humidity........

As I was the 2nd owner of the #27 ZL-1 it will be a nostalgic visit to LaHarpe. While #27 was tranfered to Alan Green Chevrolet in Seattle, pretty sure it started out at Gibb Chevrolet.........

It makes one feel good getting so many posts about our show. We have hopefully taken care of the congestion that we had last year. If you are trailering besure and watch for the signs on the West side of the park, you will come in that direction. We have 138 pre-entries tonight with 42 of them being Camaro's. If I bring it, it would have to be on a trailer and I hate to do that. We have 2 rooms reserved @ The Days Inn @ Macomb for Fri. &amp; Sat. nights that we won't be using. (being that my car is still in the shop.) If anyone needs rooms, let me know before I cancel the reservations.
