Re: 1971 RS Z28 1 OWNER, auto, 3.73
50k for a 71? Seems pretty high (the price, not the seller).
Don't know about you guys, but I think the prices start to drop off after 1970. Lynn |
Re: 1971 RS Z28 1 OWNER, auto, 3.73
Funny to see prices for the 78-79 Z/28's from 15K on up...They made a gazzilion of those... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smirk.gif

Re: 1971 RS Z28 1 OWNER, auto, 3.73
The owner was trying to sell this 71 Z/RS over a month ago on Ebay, along with 13 other Camaro's. I remember posting about this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...EWA:IT&rd=1

Would you pay him $50,000 after lifting the hood and seeing that mess??

Check this guys. Never heard this excuse in my life [ QUOTE ] ... I bought a 68 Firebird 400 convert a few years ago from a lady that parked it because the road to where she lived was too rough for it. |
Re: 1971 RS Z28 1 OWNER, auto, 3.73
Dave G. recently sold his Citrus Green LS-6 Chevelle, because he moved out to Arizona, and said the stones and rocks out there would fly up from the road while driving it.He said he couldn't subject it to that anymore,as to him it was to rare & detailed to do so.
His words,not mine...I just hate Arizona. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif |
Re: 1971 RS Z28 1 OWNER, auto, 3.73
There are no rocks here in Lake Havasu, just briquetts. Its only 115 degrees. The only advantage of that temp is less clothes for the ladies!

We only hit 117! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif |
Re: 1971 RS Z28 1 OWNER, auto, 3.73
Bruce, it was around 120. It was 115 at 9:00 p.mm.!!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

Re: 1971 RS Z28 1 OWNER, auto, 3.73
But it's a dry heat(so I hear)! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smirk.gif It's been so humid here on the east coast the temperature doesn't really matter. No matter what you're doing outside, you start sweating immediately.

Re: 1971 RS Z28 1 OWNER, auto, 3.73
Best excuse Ive seen was by a guy who thought he had a real 68 Yenko camaro...the guy said he could no longer afford to put gas in it. When I told him it was fake he turned all white and you could see his cheek's puff up with his previously consumed lunch. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smirk.gif
