1 Attachment(s)
Does anyone know where this car is today?
https://www.yenko.net/attachments/147...in_CamroLG.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif This is the car that turned me onto Baldwin/Motion cars back in the '80s. I'd love to see it in person at the Reunion https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif |
Re: '69 B/M Phase III Camaro
Do I remember Joel saying that it was in a very private collection during the banquet 2 years ago? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

Re: '69 B/M Phase III Camaro
anyone know if the BM Chevelle Tow Car is still with it in the collection???
|
Re: '69 B/M Phase III Camaro
I was thinking a thread on here somewhere determined that the 2 had been seperated? I wouldn't swear to that, though, as I've slept since then! Whatever the case may be, those green cars were quite the pair...

Re: '69 B/M Phase III Camaro
I'm thinking I remember someone saying it was in Iowa??? But that was maybe 2 years ago??? Is it owned by someone on the board?? I'm sure the owner has kept quiet because he doesn't want bombarded with offers or stupid questions like "is it real..wheres the documentation..blah blah" , I'm just curious where it's at today. And I hope someday I get to see it up close https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

I'm thinking I remember someone saying it was in Iowa??? [/ QUOTE ] I wonder if someone in Iowa with the initials GH owns it? That is about as private a collection as they come. |
Re: '69 B/M Phase III Camaro
It was in Idaho not too long ago.
|
Re: '69 B/M Phase III Camaro
Last I heard it was in Idaho too...don't think it was ever in the GH collection. I remember a couple years back Kevin S. said he offered the guy $250K when ZL1s were going for that and the guy wasn't interested in the least.

Re: '69 B/M Phase III Camaro
That car was never in the Holub collection to the best of my knowledge. Nor anywhere else in Ia, that I know of.
|
Re: '69 B/M Phase III Camaro
Was this the car that was in the Otis Chandler collection?
|
Re: '69 B/M Phase III Camaro
Yes.
|
Re: '69 B/M Phase III Camaro
I had heard who has it but can't remember the name.
|
Re: '69 B/M Phase III Camaro
I heard it was a guy in Idaho that owned an oil company. Don't recall the name.
|
Re: '69 B/M Phase III Camaro
The owner of the Roberto Schneider camaro lives in Idaho and prefers his privacy. He also owns the the green 1970 Phase lll chevelle. The stories/history behind these particular cars are some of the best of Baldwin Motion. Much more to be revealed in Marty Schorr's upcoming book... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif

Re: '69 B/M Phase III Camaro

Re: '69 B/M Phase III Camaro
Jim in Idaho owns both of the ex-Otis cars, and some yenko cars too! He was on the cover of MCE a little while back with a Hemi car.
