Busse Woods Bar-B-Que Picnic
 

IMPORTANT....NEW DATE


Summer is upon us...and it is a very busy and hectic summer for most of us. I have checked with most of the Chicago sYc`s and we have decided to have a Bar-B-Que Cruise and picnic on Saturday August 6th at Busse Woods in Schaumburg,IL. @ 11:00a.m.

Everyone is to bring a little something for food and beverages.

Lets begin a "bring to" and "who`s attending" list on this forum, so that we do not double up and bring the same item (although with our group you can never have enough food).

So I`ll begin....I will bring my wifes famous Lasagna. Yummy!
Hope all of you can make it.

The picnic will go from 11:00am to 3:00pm. then following a cruise to Lombard. Looking forward to seeeing you all on Saturday July 30th. Should be a blast!

Dan sounds like a great idea what great memories that brings back hanging in the woods. I will bring Italian sausage hopefully we can talk the wives into also going.

Jeez, how many nights did we leave Busse Woods west bound on RT 72 heading towards Hippo's Hot dogs in Hoffman Estates for a few more cold ones.

Not sure if I will be able to attend, but will try.

Please re-adjust your Calendars. Due to a few good friends not being able to make the original date, we have re-scheduled the picnic to Saturday August 6th. The time remains the same.

I am not sure if I can make it...I have a stupid block party to go to...I may try and stop by early...Busse woods is huge...what entrance you guys looking at ? On another note...I talked to the owner of Johnnies and he said they aren't all that busy on week nights....we should try to get a little thing going there on a week night.

If you guy's have the Proper Paperwork to cross into Wisconsin, Elkhorn's Car Show-Swap Meet is this weedend....2 day's this year......then the following weekend is the GoodGuy's @ Waukesha.....Both are great events......I'll take pictures and post........(without the Palm Trees cluttering everything)

It sounds like maybe a date in Sept would work out better. Cooler and less weekend events. I can make a Sept day.
