The guy is a frind of mine. He sold the yellow car this weekend at Mecum. That car was owned by DAJUDGE on this board. they put the crossram on it to sell it.

Re: RS-SS L89 Convert, 69 Z/28 X-Ram
I wonder why the back tail panel wasn't blacked out on the L89? Does anyone know how many L89 convertibles were made? Beautiful car.. JQ. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif

Re: RS-SS L89 Convert, 69 Z/28 X-Ram

Re: RS-SS L89 Convert, 69 Z/28 X-Ram
The L89 car is a clone I believe. He took that car there also. The yellow z sold in the mid 60's and it was a repop crossram.

Re: RS-SS L89 Convert, 69 Z/28 X-Ram
I have a red red 69 Z with a GM Xram for 75K if anybody has to have one.

John, How about some pictures of your azure turquoise '69 L78 Camaro. Thanks, Tim E. Penton, Jr. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Re: RS-SS L89 Convert, 69 Z/28 X-Ram
There are no records to tell how many were built, but certainly very few.

Re: RS-SS L89 Convert, 69 Z/28 X-Ram
The Orange L-89 Convertible is a clone. I spoke with the owner. Really nice car though!

Re: RS-SS L89 Convert, 69 Z/28 X-Ram
That L89 convertible is the one that just sold in Massachusetts a couple of weeks ago at a US Marshalls auction. Seized from a drug dealer on the Cape. Originally a 327 car. Heard it was pretty ragged looking at the auction but looks like it cleaned up nicely.

Re: RS-SS L89 Convert, 69 Z/28 X-Ram
Thats not the same car!! The guy who owns this car bought it at spring carlisle. I looked at the car before he bought it. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/scholar.gif
