Good to publicize this stuff. If the crooks travel 165 miles East here to Kingston I'll know it if I see it as there's no White 69 Z's in this area.

With that color combination, it shouldn't be hard to find if it comes up for sale as long as it isn't parted out.

I'm 30 min away and go to all the local cruises and will keep an eye open. Please provide a VIN #. I'll have a bat ready.

Geez, the guy gets his car returned to him and is so glad he takes it to a cruise and some guy comes up to him with a baseball bat and beats the crap out of him!!!

Well, I'm no crook, so I can't just go with the colour alone. It's not enough. Tags? Dents? I'd love to come across the car and help find it. I can't imaging how the owner feels.

Don, a lot of stolen stuff heads east it seems. Mostly it is going quite a ways east of Kingston. That car in its colour scheme would be pretty obvious. If it ever sees the light of day again you can be sure that it won't be a white Z/28. Any freshly painted '69s in southern Ontario will have a lot of people checking them over very CLOSELY. Some perfectly innocent people, unaware of what is going on, will be bragging about all the attention their cars are getting. The bat thing could only happen in a movie. We'll be watching out for things suspicious.

How bad does the owner want the car back? What do I look for that stands out. Colour is not enough. I do see Z's at cruises. Send me an email or note.

The crooks would know the VIN of the car if they have it!
Without a VIN, no way of ID'ing this car and returning it to the owner.......
