1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
1 Attachment(s)
This car is another one somebody spent a lot of money on. But it wasn't me, so I don't really care.
It is red, and has big stupid tires. It only has two pedals, so I don't like it as much as my silver Camaro. The engine is still good, but I am working on that now. It seems pretty fast, and the brakes are nice. The paint is decent, and it does have a new rainbow sticker on the rear window. I don't know why the last owner put that there? It also looks like some velcro may have stuck to the driver's side carpet and pulled some threads. Odd. Anyway, I have a Wisconsin salvage title and the car has an assigned VIN number, so she is ready to go. I want $12,500 in cash, small bills please. I am only interested in a quick sale, I have some other things going on and may need to move fast. If you are in the area and have the cash, I can meet you to do the deal. The car is sold as-is and has no warranty. Contact me if you are ready to buy. Thanks, Benjamin Dover |
Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
Red sucks...got any other colors? And are the original wheels included in that price??
|
Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
Dear Mr. Dover I would like to buy the car but need to cash a check I received as a settlement, it is a little more than your asking price, if we cash it today at your bank I can hand you your full asking price and the remaining I will take and the car and be on my way, if this agreeable with you please reply so we may finish the buisness transaction.
Thank you, Mr Magillacuddy |

Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
would you take a 69 TA convrt for an even trade on the 65?
|
Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
It's a sad day when a expert can't tell a 64 from a 65...
|
Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
No, it is a sad day when an expert cuts a nice car up and makes it look all silly. That is why I am a motivated seller.
Ben |
Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
Yeah...65's are much cooler looking...
|
Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
I will take T&A or any car with a valid title in trade. I would like to see pictures of the T&A first, however.
|
Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
Too bad, I woulda gone as much as $12,750 had it been a '65...

Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
Forgive me for airing some dirty laundry on this site but I wired Colin the money as soon as I saw the pictures on both the camaro and the 62. Now I get the feeling the cars are not as represented and when I called Colin all I heard was a loud party in the background with someone yelling "give the Hookers some more money so they will come back for the power tour party"
I have bought a couple of cars from Colin in the past so I thought we had a binding contract on these two turd boxes??? I thought I was doing him a favor and taking these two crap mobiles off his hands. Lucky for me I know a good lawyer named roN in NY. |
Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.

Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
Budnate,
It won't be hard to find Colin just look for a trail of cheap wine, expensive hookers,Domino's pizza boxes and cheeseburger wrappers from that place near his shop he took me to that cost me 100 bucks on a bet I lost there. |
Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
Word is on the street that me and Huggy Bear will be rollin' around that burger joint in our new red 70 Grand Prix 455 SJ harmonizin' with the new Earth, Wind and Fire 8track on that groovy tape player from the back seat, dig it?
Oh yeah, the Bear wanted me to remind you that it is the wine that is expensive, the ladies are free, and we don't jive with any Domino's pie - we get our stuff NY style at the Calderone Club. Real men don't pay for women or pizza that tastes like cardboard... but we know you guys from Vegas play it different. Oh yeah, and somebody better act double quick on these two cool cars I am advertising, only got a few days left to sell them - they gotta be gone a week from today. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...arleySucks.gif |
Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
Colin did you choose that moniker "Benjamin Dover" for any SPECIAL reason? Do you prefer to be called Ben or Benjamin?

Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
Charley,
That is some engine compartment on the Chevy! How about some background on your two cars. The camaro looks bad to the bone!!! Give us some details if you have time? |
Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
You ever read the book "Russian Tragedy" by Whobitchakockoff
Its a screamer https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif Sam |
Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
Charley,
Colin called me to give me the background on your cars. Holy smokes 1000HP at the rear wheels plus A/C on the camaro. Just unbelievable! You bring new meaning to the term "life is not a dress rehearsal" |

Colin is on Crack... It is 1021 hp at the flywheel, but that is on 100 octane. To run power tour the boost is turned down so I can run pump gas. I'm guessing about 800 hp. https://www.yenko.net/attachments/141031-DSC00906.JPG

Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
Charley,
That is without a doubt bar none the most impressive looking engine compartment I have ever seen. Would you happen to know what issues the magazine write ups were in regarding this car. I would like to read about both the cars. Colin mentioned both were in several mags. I would like to send away for some back issues? When Colin gets back from Mecum I am going to ask him to take some pictures. I have never seen anything like that before. I am surprised Colin hasn't driven you insane trying to buy that car? |
Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
He can't afford it.....Both cars were covered in Popular Hotrodding. The Camaro was in about 21 different issues and I'm not sure how many on the Malibu. The Camaro build up in the mag was when it had Kinsler Injection on it. I have not had a chance yet to do any articles since the turbo work was done. You need to see it in person to really appreciate all the engineering that went on with the Camaro. Here is a link to a bunch of pics of it before the twin turbos were added. http://www.pro-touring.com/mule/index.htm

Re: 1965 Malibu for sale, not bad at all.
Can't afford it? Obviously, you haven't read your storage agreement.
