Nova Stinger Hood

Anyone have a stinger hood for a Nova they want to sell? Prefer one that doesn't demand stupid money. It's for a daily driver.

Thanks

You wouldn't think that they were this reasonable. It's a tough looking hood. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif

The bolt on is a little sturdier hood plus the bolt on makes life easier lifting the hood.....stop spending all your money on condoms...... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif

This is a correct hood. They used my hood for the design. I bought a A&A hood in Oh. several years ago. Kim https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif

Re: Nova Stinger Hood

I took a hood to the Nova Nats. in Springfield Ill. several years ago and Ed picked it up from me and took it to VFN and had them made. We had ten made at first, I bought two Ray Morrison took two and I think Dyers took two. That's how these hoods came about. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif

Anyone know of a place that makes a 67 Impala Stinger Hood?
It'd be a pretty cool looking hood for a Motion Performance clone/phantom Impala. NO STEALING MY IDEA NOW!!!!

Some day it'll come alive. Stinger hood, motion stripes, 427, ladder bars, etc.

I can see it in my head . . .

Re: Nova Stinger Hood

ive converted two lift off hoods into bolt on with square pvc and quite a bit of fiberglass mat, doesnt look too bad compared to the usually crappy underside of most fiberglass hoods. use factory hinges and clay to get height at hinge and rad support, split the pvc tubing to accomodate the heights and fit contour of bottom of hood, do the same on the front and line up hinge area. i put "studs" down through one and bonded nuts into the other for bolting to hinges and latch support and glassed it all together.
