Birthday cruise for Darren (DarrenX33) on May 1st
Chicago members,
As we all know Darren has been working hard to finish his Rally Green Z by May 1st. Since it seems it will not quite be ready. I suggest we treat Darren to a day of rest on his Birthday.... May 1st with a Sunday Cruise! I will be happily lending one of my Chevelles to Darren to cruise (Darren is reponsable for the $$$Gas) https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smirk.gif Can`t have the Birthday boy be without a bowtie or riding shot-gun on his special day. I suggest we all meet at Darrens house at 10:00am on Sunday morning. We will take a scenic cruise to Sycamore, IL. and then visit the Volo Museum and back to Darrens to view his Rally Green Z-28. Gags I expect you to definetly be at Darrens house with a full tank of gas ready to go....No I don`t want to hear anything else. Hey Dan, how about this we meet at my house at 11 and do lunch after lunch we head to darrens to check out the car. We then could head west either turning on 47 to go to Volo or just keep heading west. Darren your choice either Dans Chevelle or the orange Camaro.

I'm seriously choked up. This is way too cool. That cruise plan sounds like a great idea. But we can always change up to accomodate those who rarely go west of Mannheim Road.

If anybody else is interested in cruising this Sunday May 1 give me a email. The only invites is by this thread so let us know.if you want to go. The schedule will be meet by my house around 11 have lunch here head west to Darrens house take a look at how hes coming along with his car then take North ave to 47 head north maybe having another stop to meet up with another group of guys from the site and see what happens from there.

Ya know this sounds like a really cool thing to do for your friend and I would like to participate if I could. I am in Carol Stream and it sounds like the route goes right past me here. I know nobody knows me but I have been on stevesnovasite for a while and found this from there. You can check out my car and pics of me being alittle extreme on the cardomain site in my profile page. The pics of me are from before I became married and domesticated. Please consider my request to join the cruise as I honestly am a normal person that just so happens to own a seriously badass Nova. OK "normal" does come across a little strong by the typed word. Maybe optimisticly hopeless car freak with a pass on the shoulder attitude sporting 420 ponies and a gas credit card with a $10,000 line of credit????????? and a relative who's a judge.

Hi Mike, Hi usualy go to visit my parents in Hillsboro on A1A every year sounds like your pretty close to them. When ever I go I usuallt try and get to crabby Jacks they have some cool cars and good food. Next time Im there I look out for you.

Ok Darren, go talk to him. There is going to be a all original 20k Mr Norm Challenger at my house Sunday I cant wait to see it. Its not going to make the cruise he is dropping it off Sunday to have some work done.
