Strats Car Show...May 15th
 

Chicago area muscle,

Last year we all spoke with Strat and asked him to move is opening car show from April 15th to May 15th. Strat responded and did so.

Inviting all to join us, we are expecting a big turn out. The show starts at 9:00a.m. on Sunday May 15th. So come early for a good spot.

I heard there will be a few very nice cars for sale at this show...so Bob bring your checkbook.

Looking forward to seeing everyone. Strats is located on North Ave in Villa Park, IL. just west of Villa Ave on the south side of the street.

We usually have a burnout parade as we all depart the show...John (SSL78) is well known for great burnouts in Strats parking lot. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif

Strats parking lot can hold 75 cars or so...last year the weather was bad, but it was also April 15th. This Sunday should be a great turn out.

I will do my best to save you a good spot, I suggest you come early. The show is from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Bring your digital camera and video. Strat wants lots of rubber left on his newly paved lot. See you there.

I`m going to get there very early along with a few other sYc members...our goal is to take the entire front row without making any enemies of all others attending. Respecting all comers is what our hobby is all about. Again if you want a good spot get there early. Also bring a few lawn chairs, we`ll take a group photo as usual. Frank, we plan on getting there between 8-8:30. How about a quick role call to see whos going so we know how many spots to save. We will try to save spots up to 9:30. So Frank do we have to give you a wake up call.
