Re: RARE MOPAR CONVERTS

Re: RARE MOPAR CONVERTS
You know of a white/red R/T ragtop?
|
Re: RARE MOPAR CONVERTS
I did.... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif It was owned by a good friend back in the early 90's.It was repainted to B5 around the early 80's.This rag top flat out hauled A$$.This was a 440-4sp, power buldge hood, magnum wheel car that he traded even up for a 69 Charger R/T.Bad trade....I guess it made sense to him at the time.I have not heard of this car since.....

Re: RARE MOPAR CONVERTS
Wow, that's my favorite color combo. I've never seen it in a ragtop before. I've seen several hardtops in this color. That's my dream Mopar.

Re: RARE MOPAR CONVERTS
Dave's purple convertible was looking sweet out there this weekend. I heard there were a couple offers in the wind https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif
I saw David B and Bill W in their Hemi Cuda verts on the freeway this morning on the way out to the LVMS...very cool! SS |

My friend Hans pointed out to me today, that I had made a terrible mistake ! The Hemi fourspeed convertible was of course a -70. They didnīt even make any in -71. According to one of itīs previous owners, itīs the only one of those nine built that got the super trac pack option.
In the early eighties ! Anders |

Bill & Dave B had a bet and they drove them like they stole them !! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...p/IMGP0539.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...p/IMGP0540.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...p/IMGP0541.jpg |
Re: RARE MOPAR CONVERTS
For folks considering going to the Pavillions this weekend, don't forget that the "Cruise on Central" is occurring this Saturday (Park Central Mall on Central Ave in Phoenix). This is a semi-annual event with a car show in the mall parking lot and continuous cruise thru out the day. I am sure the "orange R/T" mentioned above would be a welcome site. I plan to take my 69 Oly gold L78 to the Cruise. Should be a fun time.
See you there, Sam https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/laugh.gif |
Re: RARE MOPAR CONVERTS
I am interested in the 68 Dart GTS if it's still for sale. I am looking to buy a 71or70 Cuda 440 6pk. I have a really cool 64 Sport Fury Convert clone, 426 Max Wedge, 2x4 crossram, auto, 3:91 to trade.
thanks, Jeff |
