Re: 67 Yenko
Kim,
That is Awesome https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif ... I love it when another one is "uncovered"... I have always thought that there must be some more Supercars lanquishing away as bracket racers. Everytime I am at the drag strip I am always checking vins. GREAT JOB. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif Are you going to restore it or???? |

Cool...How did you know it was a Yenko? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif [/ QUOTE ] Kim had known about the car for years, suspecting it might be something special, maybe a Yenko, Harrell or Gibb car, but had been unable to verify anything, that is until the sYc acquired the Yenko estate paperwork. Once we got to checking, bingo, there is was. And boy, is that information going to cost him... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif |

Also I have to thank Ed C.Thanks again Kim https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/scholar.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Re: 67 Yenko
Bruce , The list shows 241579 and not 241597 I called Tom and asked if this # maybe wrong. He found 241597 but it wasn't posted because they thought they had tranposed the #. Ed C has both #s 579 & 597 on his list. That's when things started coming together. The cars are out there. I hope this answers your question. How's is your son getting along? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Re: 67 Yenko
Yep Kim, that answers my question. I learn something new every day on this site! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/scholar.gif
My daughter, who had a heart transplant when she was 5 months old...is 14 years old and doing GREAT! SC69SAM has a son who is also a heart transplant. All of our kids are gift from God! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif Thanks for asking. Congrats on your find...and it'll be very https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif to watch it as you go through the restoration process. |
Re: 67 Yenko
Glad to hear both your daughter and SC69SAM's son are doing well. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif
The key is never giving up. I bet Kim has called me 40-50 times about various cars, some on Ebay, some on here, some he just ran across, such as the '67. Some were close, but no hits until this one. And I am glad he mentioned Ed C., who helped Kim doucument the car as well. As we did on this car, the sYc and Ed C. often work together helping owners document their supercar. When we are able to document a "barn find" such as Kim's '67, that is when this hobby really becomes exciting. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif |
Re: 67 Yenko
I love a happy ending. Can't wait to follow this car's progress! What's the plan?, as-delivered in 1967 or?
