Finally have a Chevy to post here

I went to buy a trailer but kinda knew this guy might be selling his 69 Z. It's a two time Junior and one time Senior AACA winner. Talked to previous owners and they verify the options on this car as it looks now.

And one for Belair

Maybe this is the one to take to SCR8

Time to upgrade to cable or DSL now, Rick? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

They load just fine for me, but I have a T1 line!

Nice looking Camaro. Is that an X33 or an X77? Looks like it has all the style-trim exterior stuff except rain gutter trim.

Welcome to the Z club Mike! We should get Darren's Rally Green Z, your Daytona Yellow Z, and my Garnet Red Z together for a picture. Three Z's together.... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

That is a beautiful Z/28. I almost purchased a Daytona Yellow Z/28 before I bought my Fathom Green car. I wish I had but I have no regrets with the green car.

Camarojoe or(i guess) anyone else who might know,

-------I am trying to upgrade my knowledge of 69s and keep wondering why some cars have rain gutter trim and some dont. This SHARP Z would seem like it ought to have the trim and yet it doesnt. Whats the majic answer???........Bill S

Re: Finally have a Chevy to post here

Bill, chrome trim in these areas (wheel wells, gutters, headlamp bezels and tail lights) is "Style Trim Group".

Taken directly from www.camaros.org

The codes are divided into two groups, those with the Z21 style trim option, and those without the Z21 style trim option. (Since the Z21 Style Trim group also was generally included in the Rally Sport option, Z22, all Z22 cars are included in the Z21 X-code group. The only differences were the headlamp and taillamp lenses.)

with Z21 (or Z22)
---------------------
X11* non-BB, non-Z28,
including SS-350
X22 BBC
X33 Z28

without Z21 (or Z22)
-------------------------------
X44* non-BB, non-Z28, non-SS350
X55 SS350
X66 BBC
X77 Z28

Betting that it is an X33 and that trim just happens to be missing. Trim tag would tell. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

BTW, endura looks awesome in yellow. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif

Was Frank from Mechanicsburg, Pa one of the previous owners? If he was this is the car Maguires had on display at different car show events.
