Old Building Finds
Found these tonight in an old building. This is from a cell phone camera, so pardon the poor quality.

Re: Old Building Finds
The Camaro is a 375HP, Auto, Numbers Match, even still has the original exhaust and it has shoulder harness belts.
The TA is Number Match, Auto, Heater Car, X in the Vin. Neither have been outside since the early 80's. |

Cool. What kind of building was this and does the owner want to sell them https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif

Re: Old Building Finds
It's just an old storage building, the cars are owned by two different people. TA is not for sale, the owner of the Camaro will take phone numbers and may call you back.
Email or PM them to me and I will pass the digits along. |

Re: Old Building Finds
Camaro update.
First: I found out this car was sold new to an old lady in Broken Arrow Oklahoma, who then sold it to the guy that owns it now. He only drove it to storage and has never been in it again. That was in the early 80's some time. Second: I have passed along a few phone numbers to the owner but I now suspect he may have no intentions of returning any calls. Just wanted to let those interested know as not to get their hopes up. Steve |

Does that look like a stock intake? The rally wheels on that car look to be at least 15" wheels to me also (stock would have been 14"). In fact, I thought they looked more like 16 inches... Do the wheels look big to anyone else? -Sam |

Sam
I know that old ladies fall prey to male mechanics with their own agenda, one of which may include pulling parts for their own car and replacing with junk. Not actually knowing anything other than what I was told, I would hope something along these lines is true and will explain any descrepencies. I would know very little of verifying this car on sight, even if I was afford the opportunity. We were there to look at rare Pontiacs, and my mind was pre occupied with seeing more round port cars than I could count. We will try to get back in with intent of inspecting this Camaro. Steve |
Re: Old Building Finds
Gary talked to the owner today and emailed me this, so it's looking better.
[ QUOTE ] steve, as for bills car, when he got it, it had the original 14" rallyes on it but had all flat tires. he put these on it to roll it to the shop. the clutch fan went bad and he put that on their to keep it running (which he really used to come down and start it about once every 3 months or so). he has the original carb off of it to rebuild it and it is the original intake that is on it. it also has shoulder harness harness belts which is one of supposedly around 100 made total. it is also a - - paint code car because it was ordered stripe delete. the paint and interior is all original as is the numbers matching 375 hp engine and turbo 400 transmission. bill said he will go down one day this week and i will take a digital camera and take a bunch of pics. gary [/ QUOTE ] |
