Re: 1968 L79 chevelle
It's the same Chevelle, now owned by Dave Belk. Saw it at The Forge - beautiful car!

i have spoken to the owner, chris, before.
seems like a nice guy and he has some pretty cool cars... i check out his website every couple of weeks.. he has sold a couple of the new zl1's, including the nickey tribute car. |
Re: 1968 L79 chevelle
Pete...the car was featured in Member Rides and is gorgeous...no paperwork ..contact 9566ba for straight scoop. It was done using correct numbered parts etc. I wish I would have bought it from him !

Re: 1968 L79 chevelle
He has had that Nickey ZL1 for sale since March 2003. Stefano was the original owner.

Re: 1968 L79 chevelle
I can tell you the motor in that 68 post Chevelle is a real deal L79 325HP 327. I sold Jeff L the block, large journal steel 327 crank and HP 8" balancer a few years ago at CB2000 in Nashville. Even had the correct L79 code on the pad and a Chevelle VIN#, although not the VIN to this car. If I remember correctly it was a late 67 cast block. He sure did a nice job restoring that car.

Re: 1968 L79 chevelle
No doubt...very sharp car ! Jeff is a great guy and they did a hell of a job on that car...
