Couldnt find anything here with specifics on Gateway International Raceway........Hope the track at Madison, Il is correct......Will some PLEASE advise me if I'm WRONG???

Pulled into the parking lot around 10pm, and we were met with a VERY impressive site...Supercars EVERYWHERE. Lined up on either side of the entrance, in parking spots, cruising in & out of the hotel lot...un-friggin-believable. This weekend is gonna be historic...

.....and Ed was on his best behavior too.....she only had to club him with a bat once !!!!It was pretty cool to put faces with user names....met a ton of you folks out there...I can't even list them all.....Annie Hartweg is a doll and that old fart Dennis Gumby is one of the coolest senior citizens you could meet...guys like Kenny Pasco,Don Stowers,Chris Sort,al the Clary's...Frank Payne,Steve Shauger,Steve Bimbi,Jeff Chlupsa,Steve Sandlin...man the list just goes on and on...hell Pantera stayed awake long enough to say Hi too...

That was an awesome event. What made the show was seeing enthusiasm on everyones faces at the track, banquet and the show. A great group of enthusiasts who all share a common passion for these great cars. I would like to thank the Clary's, the moderators and everyone who made this great event possible. The laughs and new friendships made it very special for me.

A quick funny...Charley was telling me how great the "never lost" navigation system in his rental would be, "its awesome a life saver and ya can't get lost". Well Charley got lost even with his ultra sophisticated navigation system. He still may be lost has anyone seen him lately. Now I know why his signature is "Are we there yet"
