'69 Z28 RS
Must be correctly and freshly restored with good paper. Prefer original drivetrain and prefer Rally Green, Hugger Orange or Black body paint. Must be a "needs nothing" car with complete documentation.
I've got a #2 condition Rallye Green 4spd '69 COPO Camaro that I'd consider trading, plus some cake... How 'bout it, Shauger or Darren...let's make a deal https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif SS |
Re: '69 Z28 RS
D make the switch for the COPO!!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Darren
Trade it for its weight in Walnut,& tell him to throw in a black 1980 corvette. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif |
Re: '69 Z28 RS
LOL...I bought that for my daughter to drive while I fix up her 69 Camaro. You and HawaiianJeff don't miss much. Nosey bastards...LOL. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Re: '69 Z28 RS
I'd be interested in offering my Hugger Orange JL8 car but it's not even painted yet.

Didn't he say 'needs nothing'? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif

Re: '69 Z28 RS
Mine isn't an RS though.

Re: '69 Z28 RS
If you have ever seen his Rod Shop and the cars in it, the NEEDS NOTHING applies to all of them. Jeff when will your JL8 be on the road again?
|
Re: '69 Z28 RS
I 2nd that. Awesome collection.

I figure a year at the minimum if I can find the funds to funnel into it. I took out a loan to buy the 68 LT1 car because I wanted something I could drive now. |
Re: '69 Z28 RS
Keep at it, Jeff. It'll be a cool car when you're done, I'm sure.
I'm still looking guys. I prefer the RS option, but I'll consider all top quality, with good paper, Z's. Anyone know anything about the eBay seller in Fishkill, NY neighborhood that's advertising the black Z28, item #2486257354 https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif SS |
Re: '69 Z28 RS
Kenny lives in that area and probably knows the car. Looks to be a very nice car, with a color change from burnished brown to black.

Re: '69 Z28 RS
Are you referring to Kenny Pascoe? I noticed the paint code was BB, but finding a -- paint code is pretty tough. I was hoping someone knew this particular car or the guy that resto'd it. I noticed his ad at Camaros.net for $52,000, so it must be pretty nicely done.
Call me, Kenny, if you see this post...907-262-9585 Hey, SAS...you skipped over the part about trading your black Z to me...LOL. SS |
Re: '69 Z28 RS
Yes I was referring to Kenny Pascoe. I am not interested in selling the car, but you are on my short list if I do. I do have a belated High School graduation present for you, a 1967 L78 Chevelle one of less than 34 California smog certified, concours restored, well optioned and documented LOL https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif.

Re: '69 Z28 RS
...thats a nice Chevelle Steve.......

Re: '69 Z28 RS
Thanks Bob, you could start a collection of BY cars like Marks orange trio. I hear someone in the background giggling...We do owe him a good one. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...arleySucks.gif

Re: '69 Z28 RS
Hmmm...don't tease me like that. Send me the pics and specs again and the quick/easy good-ol'-boyz price. Be gentle please, I'm getting old and fragile. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/headbang.gif

Thanks Kenny...I appreciate the call. I should have guessed that you'd know about any pretty cars in the NE states. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif

Hey Phil...don't do me that way!! Cool looking, and when can we load my trailer? Say...this Wednesday, or so https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif
It would look good with this GM crossram setup and GM crossram hood that awaits the Z I end up with. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif You're killin' me over here! Get the pics and details to Belair so he can post it on the member's rides forum. Just the color I'm after too, you dawg! SS |
Re: '69 Z28 RS
I know of a 12,000 mile unrestored black RS Z with GM Canada papers. Are you serious this time or still shopping?
|
Re: '69 Z28 RS
No, I'm pretending, and I like to just post something and this was all I could think of.
SS |
Re: '69 Z28 RS
Like when you contacted me to find a '67 Z? I don't want to go to the trouble of contacting this guy if you aren't sure that you really want this type of car.
|
Re: '69 Z28 RS
Well, let's see, wise guy...I've had direct/indirect car dealings in the last 12 months with several people here, plus I'm wondering how your response fits my description of what I said I was looking for https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif I've had fairly smooth dealings with:
Joe Frohlich, Frank Chichercia, Kenny Pascoe, Joe Swezey, Brian Henderson, Kevin Hand, Matt Berger, Tom Clary, Pat Joiner, Chad Blomberg, Kevin Suydam, Tommy White, David Chamberlain, Jerry Miller, Jim@NWClassics, Bob Addcock, Frank Magallon, Joe Barr, Bob Gagliano, Paddock and Chris Short to mention a few. One thing I will now gaurantee you though is: if Zedder has anything to do with the deal...it's probably not a car I'm interested in. But thanks for stopping in to check on my post. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/rolleyes.gif SS |
Re: '69 Z28 RS
My mistake. I guess I was confusing your prior postings about liking unrestored cars and thought that you might be interested in probably the nicest unrestored Black '69 RS Z that I have ever seen. You had contacted me a few months ago about wanting one of the "top ten" '67 Z's in the country and I called around for you trying to help (I even told you that I didn't want the finder's fee you offered). Turned you onto to two very nice cars and you didn't pull the trigger because of other committments. No problem. Now I see this post and figure I'll try and help out again, but want to make sure you are serious this time so I don't waste my time or bother anyone by bugging them to sell their car. And that's the thanks I get! Don't worry LV, you won't be involved with any car that I have anything to do with - I think I'll do just fine https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif

Re: '69 Z28 RS

Re: '69 Z28 RS
Perhaps to the disappointment of a few on-lookers, you've got a PM response, instead of a forum post response. The 5 star thread rating is sufficient press, for now.

Why does a public scrap need a 5 star thread rating.
