Charlie,

I will be there Friday-Saturday. Are you going into a building?? If not, get a canopy for that Pace car to protect it from UV.

Just got back from a great weekend in Carlisle. There were some really exceptional cars there this year, and it's always fun hanging out and sharing a few beers with some of the sYc gang. Steve's HRSS was on hand and is really something. You have to see this car in person to really appreciate the effort that went into building it. The Imagine Motorsports guys outdid themselves with this one. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

I think Steve's Inciner8or gets my vote for "most stupefying" engine bay. A true engineering masterpiece. I looked at it all weekend and it's still mind boggling as to how it all comes together so neatly. After seeing something like this, it makes you wonder what's next? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Re: GM CARLISLE

Steve,
Sorry the pic of your car didn't turn out better. I use a good ol' manual Pentax, and I'm just nfg with a flash. The spot your car was in was vacant for a day or two. There was another car listed for the "originals" display that didn't make it, so I suppose the Carlisle folks did the "right thing" and moved it in from the tent on the field. It was a treat to see it in person and read some of the history on the sign with it.

As for more pics of my gold car, Belairless has been after me for them. I sent a few yesterday but he said they didn't make it. I'll keep trying. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif
