Re: gmmg

To tell the truth, those that are interested in the Harrell cars most likely have been following the release of them through the DH web pages were Val and Dale have provided way more information than anyone here could ever provide. Neat cars just the same though.

gemleeus 05-24-2004 01:33 AM

Re: gmmg

that must be the case, cause there isn't anything in this forum about them for sure, wonder why.

Re: gmmg

Ok. These cars have been discussed at length in the past, if you do a quick search you will find a variety of topics pertaining to them, including delivery of some of the cars to IL, MI, burnout pics, etc.....

I understand.

i agree with you gem, it doesn't seem like theres to much interest w/ the cars here, what did you find out?

Re: gmmg

I see GMMG has a nice website, was cruising it during lunch. The Harrell's are the partner in these cars with GMMG, and they also have an excellent site. I would think that any info you would be looking for would be on there? I remember the unveiling of the cars was thoroughly covered here a while back. Will be neat to see one on the track someday!

Gem I see I misspelled your name on my last post...ooops.I wasn't "setting you straight" as you said though...your original post just asked if anyone was going...if you have any news on the Harrell cars that you can post I'm sure it would be appreciated...not many folks know a heck of a lot about these new cars but I'm sure would be interested on whatever info is available...the green rendering is very cool...can't wait to see one completed.

Re: gmmg

Hi all
Just so everyone will know...
This weekend in Marietta GA is the unveiling of the Berger/ Dick Harrell edition supercar for all to see.
The list of attendees is as follows as known to me.
Matt Berger, Scott Settlemier, Elaine and Valerie Harrell,
Dale Pulde, Harry and Shirley Kalwei,Larry Leatherman,
James Zelany,Brad Melvin,Glenn and Collene Powell, the Host Matt Murphy of course, myself and my wife Norma.
We should all be there most of Friday and if you should be there don't fail to walk up and introduce yourself. I for one will be glad to meet everybody who can make it there.

This will be the largest gathering to date of the
"Dick Harrell people" and may never happen again that all the people mentioned will be together in one place at the same time.

I understand that the Woodward ave. Cruse Camaro is scheduled to be there also, this is a rare chance to see this great car in person. This is the car which has been the inspiration for and which the latest offering fron GMMG is patterned after.

Not to mention the f-body gathering and car show in Atlanta proper, that alone is worth the trip for the true fan of the Camaro/Firebird regardless of/if it has a "label" attached to it. You can see some great cars that might not be seen any other place.
Come if you can... cause this ain't gonna happen again anytime soon.

Dave,

This will be a very special weekend, hope to see some great pictures. I think the #1 car will be something to behold. Hope you all have lots of fun. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif

Re: gmmg

Charley, isn't that the one you ordered? I thought the Ralley Green with 675 hp. was the general description.

Charley Lillard 05-26-2004 11:30 PM

Re: gmmg

Mine was supposed to be Rally Green and # 1 but I think what they are gonna debut is maybe Valeries or Matt Bergers car and I know that Orley is supposed to have one on Power Tour so I imagine his will be there.

68TopStock 05-26-2004 11:33 PM

Re: gmmg

Charlie, I thought Yellow was your color? I have always thought Ralley Green was the one color from 1969 that just plain stood out! I hope you treat it just like you did your ZL1 at Wentzville. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Belair62 05-26-2004 11:35 PM

Re: gmmg

That car is going to look cool in Rally Green....can't wait to see it.

Re: gmmg

Hi

Maybe off topic, but i dug into some Super Chevy magazines from 98 yesterday, and in one of them there was an article abt. John Moss'es toys. One of them was a stroked, 98 camaro,

They stated something like the following," we think you never will be able to by something like this new, "

They couldnt be more wrong, when youre thinking abt what GMMG is doing.
