Nice job---especially staying focused on the brass ring for four years https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Re: 70 SS project done
Is that color Azure Turquoise? Not sure what that color is called on Chevelles....https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Re: 70 SS project done
Lookin' real good Al. 4 speed w/o console is very cool, and I especially like the trim pieces under the headlights, you don't see them much on restored cars. Now slap the trim rings on that thing and take her for a ride...I can tell by the stance that the springs haven't settled in yet. Give her one of these numbers! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif

Re: 70 SS project done
Trim rings will go on after the alighnment is done...and yes you are right zero miles on her so far but she sounds real healthy. The color is Misty Turqiouse..not real common. Thanks for the nice comments.

Beautiful Chevelle Al. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif
I think a code 34 is highly underrated when they are done properly.Did you catch the one in Nashville in 2000? There is also an LS6 Identical to yours. It is a Survivor sold new from Luby, and has all the Docs.I took many pix,as I wanted to buy it then.I don't know where it is today. What is the Build date & plant of your Chevelle Al? Rick |
Re: 70 SS project done

Re: 70 SS project done
Thanks Rick..the car is a 03C Baltimore built. I did see the one in Nashville in 2000. I had just bought mine about two weeks earlier...and yes it is a underrated color but I love it!!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif

Beautiful! Especially the color. You have done yourself proud and I enjoyed watching the car come together over the least several years. Great job! Rick |

Re: 70 SS project done
That is a beautiful car. I admire your talent. I'm restoring a 70 as well. Mine's code 10 classic white, no stripes, red bucket seat interior, tach dash. auto with console. I just love 70 SS Chevelles. Great job. Enjoyed seeing the pics. I can tell you share the passion and desire a high level of detail. Thanks for sharing.
