Re: SCUM BAG SCAM ALERT!!!!!

Notify E-bay as fast as you can and if you can still get into your ad be sure to change your passcode. If it was me I would end my auction till they did something about it.

Re: SCUM BAG SCAM ALERT!!!!!

Frank,
Just went through this with my auction for Mattisons COPO. You can notify Ebay SafeHarbor with this auction number and yours to get it stopped, but in the mean time bid $150,000 on the auction so the mutt is wasting his time. If he does bother leaving a negative feedback which is highly unlikely, Ebay will remove it after reviewing the situation. I think this dirtbag is monitering this website for auction thefts, have your Father get with some of his Fed pals and track him down as it has become a twice a week occurence. I bid on Mattisons COPO, as long as we watch for these and place ridiculous bids so no fraud takes place maybe he will move on to selling life insurance or something of a useful nature to himself.

Re: SCUM BAG SCAM ALERT!!!!!

Pantera it is not my e-bay name! Some poor unsuspecting e-bayer has had his name and my car, & description hijacked! How do I contact e-bay directly?

Re: SCUM BAG SCAM ALERT!!!!!

Frank,
Go to the Ebay Site Map page which has a link at the top of about every Major Ebay page, on the site map click on Safe Harbor or I have had my images taken, follow the directions to contact by Email. The Thread about this same idiot and Mattisons COPO has a direct Phone Number in one of the posts.

Just posted these circumstances over on Team Chevelle. The wider the exposure the better.

Re: SCUM BAG SCAM ALERT!!!!!

The Team Camaro forums were filling up with reports of these ebay scams. I created a sticky thread to try to keep them all in one place. There are still many not using the thread but check out just how much of this has been going on!! There are also some good pointers for recognizing the scams... http://www.camaros.net/forum/ultimat...c;f=2;t=008068

Re: SCUM BAG SCAM ALERT!!!!!

And it's not just cars. Someone tried the same thing with a Ramjet 502 engine somebody had for sale. All they really want to do is get that $1000-2000 deposit from somebody and they're gone.

Re: SCUMBAG STRIKES AGAIN

LAST NIGHT AROUND 9;30 ON (4-04-04) I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM A MEMBER OF THIS SITE AND WAS ASKED IF I LISTED MY 1969 MOTION VETTE FOR SALE ON E-BAY? I SAID NO. HE PROCEEDED TO TELL ME IT WAS MY VETTE ON E-BAY AND INFORMED ME OF THE SCAMS THAT HAVE BEEN GOING ON. I THEN CHECKED E-BAY AND SURE ENOUGH IT WAS MY CAR. THE PICTURES AND WRITE UP WAS EVEN MINE FROM MY COLOR BROCHURE I HAVE BEEN GIVING OUT. IT WAS LISTED FOR A 24 HOUR SALE AND WAS ONLY RUNNING FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES WHEN I SAW IT WITH 185 HITS ALREADY. I THEN SCRAMBLED TO CONTACT E-BAY TO HAVE IT REMOVED BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL SINCE IT WAS SUNDAY NIGHT.I THEN WENT BACK TO SEE THE LISTING AGAIN AND IT WAS GONE. WOW, WHAT IF SOMEONE GOT EXCITED (LIKE WE ALL DO WHEN BUYING SOMETHING NEW) AND SENT THIS SCUMBAG A DEPOSIT. BE CAUTIOUS AND LETS CONTINUE TO STICK TOGETHER. THANKS KELLY K. FOR YOUR CALL. MIKE R.
