We will be driving over from Indy. What time does racing start on Friday? Where is the best place to stay the night? and Where is the facility for the show on Saturday?

The Holiday Inn is the place where most stay and where the banquet is held. The show room is a 4 iron away, basically across the parking lot. Not sure what time Rob has the racing scheduled...last year was about 9:00 AM, as I recall. You're a day late, Rick! Casey ridded himself of the "root beer float" and picked up an original, low miles, Butternut Yellow L-72 'Scayne. I *believe* it was originally from Minnesnowta(?) and was raced a good deal of it's life. I also think it went low-mid 13s it's first time out, with horrendous wheel-hop! In all honesty, I would like to put the car on the line and do a nice soft "girlie" launch. Laugh all you want but I have a terrible fear of "hurting" the car. Always nice to know when you know just enough to be dangerous and not enough to be good! Helps keep one out of trouble...usually.
