I saw it on a 67 ebay auction. The tag looked normal, with the exception of an x after the 3. The auction may still be going, or kim has a link to the page. Roger

Its a K, im wheeling and dealing on it by email for 2 days, suppose to go take a look tomorrow..

Looks to be an X to me. Quality of photo not the greatest. Has anyone emailed the seller for a better pick of the cowl tag?

I would say its K. I copied the image, blew it up and used negative view. You can see that its a K, the left side of the K is vertical with the right legs are angled like a K, a X would criss-cross and its not like that.
