A 69 Z28 with a big block, AC and auto trans!!
Of course its a early build with no x codes or docs.
I hope someone doesn't get taken with this one. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bs.gif

That's all right, there is another one that went up with the rare "factory auto tranny" option.

Ha, because the auto trans was an option in the 1969 Z-28.

"Here we have on of the nicest cars you will ever see", PLEASE. It would be great if E Bay had the GONG SHOW panel of experts that would listen and be presented the sellers stuff then GONG them in or out of the auction!! Boy talk about a 24/7 job.

Re: where do these people come from?

At this time there are 19 bids. 16 by the SAME Bidder. Off the top of my head I think that's a little odd. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/rolleyes.gif

Boy isn't it amazing how this computer age allows the people to be so bold and daring behind the keyboard.

But it's signed over and over.

What kind of ding dong would get involved in a deal like this.

The truth is in the VIN.... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif

Re: where do these people come from?

I would say the VIN is an after thought to whatever monkey business is going on with the title/bill of sale issue.

DjD 01-04-2004 06:12 PM

Re: where do these people come from?

I mis read the vin, it's published as 1243379N554977 and saw the 3's next to each other and that tells you it's a 6 cyl. There is an extra digit though as 12337 is a 6cyl coupe and 12437 is an 8 cyl coupe. Wonder which number is the typo?

Re: where do these people come from?

Back in the 70's I remember several people that use to make those in line 6 scream at the strip, I guess everyone lost interest in that. I remember two 67-8 Camaros that ran that way, sounded like angry bumble bees but cool.

"Ha, because the auto trans was an option in the 1969 Z-28."

Are you serious are joking? I have never seen a 69 auto Z-28 before. New info for me if that is the case, I stand corrected. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif

Sarcasim maybe hard to pick up over the internet. No, the automatic transmisson was NOT an option on the 1969 Camaro Z-28. I do not believe it became a Z28 option until 1970.

I have seen dozens of 69 Z/28's on Ebay with automatic, A/C, Original 350 and 396 engines, a couple of 427's, some have tac's, some dont, original 10 bolts, I have even seen a really, really, rare, totally original 454, LS7, Automatic 69 Z/28 with a factory tunnel ram and snorkle hood... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/rolleyes.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/rolleyes.gif

It is likely the result of a proxy bid.

Re: where do these people come from?

The automatic became an option on the Z-28 only after the engine went to hydraulic lifters with the 350 LT-1. The solid lifter 302 was never mated to an automatic on a production car. (how I hate the word never, I feel it coming now)

Sorry Motown, the auto became available in the Z in 70 and they had solid lifters through 72 https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/scholar.gif

Fred,
Doesnt the wife always win? If she doesnt win dont the men lose anyway? Anyone who believes the women dont run the world from behind the scenes spends all their free time with a Playboy magazine. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

I can't figure why half or most of these people do not have lights or flashes for the great photos if you know what i am saying , and people still bid on hard to see items?
They must assume everyone is blind so make equal
for the people that can see.
