Satellite Mishap (in the LAB)

>Apparently another satellite project removed 24 bolts from the NOAA N stand (don't know why - but wasn't authorized) and no one at Lockheed/Martin noticed before they started tilting the satellite.

Re: Satellite Mishap (in the LAB)
What is really sad, the person(s) at fault WILL NOT be fired. Whenever a government employee screws up(major), rapes a coworker, misuses a gov. credit card for 100K for personal use they are just transferred or reassigned or sent home with pay while the case is being investigated. Typical government.
Here are some reason a gov. employee will be fired: 1.)cross or ten commandents poster on their private desk/wall. 2.)Inadvertantly blurt out "Merry Christmas" instead of the new PC "happy winter holiday" 3.)Your gay male co-worker is sexually harrasing you and you demand from your superiors that he stops. 4.You mention that your department is inefficient and misuses money and could do with less money the coming year and still manage fine. 5.White male who cuts off his bad combover. Any more? |
Re: Satellite Mishap (in the LAB)
MR 70 is correct, It was to be in position over the Western US and the Paific Ocean to Hawaii to get better details of Weather and storms as the formed. Not to say what or who else had their hands into other areas also. Most the satellite that are up there are sponsered by one group but used by many. for other things. Can you say reading Lisc plates from 250 miles up

Re: Satellite Mishap (in the LAB)
Uhh, Jeff, didn't y'all see the note I left on the satellite? I needed to borrow the bolts for my engine stand, to hold on my friend's big block...
...and those titanium bolts looked so trick I decided to use the rest to mount the bumpers on my L78. Sorry it all fell over..
