This guy is going to have problems, the link above is for the same car as my first post. Has it listed twice, I got high bid on the first auction at around $400, second auction for the same car is around $1200 Whoooops! Cant wait to get an Email explaining this one!

Hope you get it but the other auction was started first by 7 minutes so I would bet that would be the deciding factor on which auction is kept.

Re: Wrecked Yenko Camaro Clone For Parts On Ebay

WAAAAAA, I'm Whining Jeff, you are right, other one started first, and I am sure someone will bring it to this guys attention and he will stop the auction, but, if they both played all the way to the end, he would have some degree of civil liability to the high bidder as Ebay does constitute a "Binding Contract" under the law, there have been cases on big ticket items where it ended up in court if the buyer didnt follow through, the seller is held to the same degree of responsibility to follow through with the transaction. On something of this value it would not be worth the time, but if you were bidding on a $150,000 car and the auction clocked out the seller does have to sell to you if reserve was met. This will be fun to see how long it takes for this guy to figure it out.

Re: Wrecked Yenko Camaro Clone For Parts On Ebay

No Jeff, I am bidding on a clone auction of a clone Yenko for Camaro parts. The reserve is met, was a grand, I see a grand in wheels, tires, console with gauges, shifter, deluxe interior, doors, deck lid w/spoiler, who knows for a rear end, and a mutitude of other parts. The only REAL thing about any of this would be the usable parts. But since the auction I am bidding on is not real...Hmmmm....this has even me confused....I guess if I want the parts I will have to bid on the real auction for the fake car to get the real parts....who's on first anyway?

Re: Wrecked Yenko Camaro Clone For Parts On Ebay

Doesnt matter whos on first its who crosses the plate first and with your luck you will do that on both auctions and have to pay twice

Your right though parts alone would be worth it to pick it up. I was kind of looking at the wheels myself but shipping to Hawaii would be almost what the car would be .

Its a good thing Don Johnson didn't "put his butt in the seat"! No telling what it would be worth probably at least $50,000! This is starting to look more Shady all the time, I sent the seller an email through Ebay, using the ask seller a question option, I was going to let him know the error of his ways, and guess what? Email returned, undeliverable. Hmmmmmmm.........
