Barrett Jackson Scottsdale Super Saturday 2026
 

Lynn Holly and I went to Barrett-Jackson today, thanks to the generosity of one of Jamie Jarvis' friends, Rob.


Rob and Jamie are amazing folks-and we really appreciate their thoughtfulness.


As usual, Barrett-Jackson is a huge car show on steroids and more importantly, it's a chance to see our friends from all across the country and world-that we haven't seen in a while-and also a chance to meet new friends.


We spent from about 8am to 4pm there and then headed home. I didn't take a ton of pics-as like usual-I was too busy talking with folks!

Rick Nelson was at the auction (one of the reasons to make the trip out to the auction) He was representing this amazing black LS6. It was so good to spend a few hours with Rick. The LS6 sold for $400,000 :biggthumpup:

Holly, with her buddy Scott Black. Scott is the person responsible for Holly getting a chance to meet and talk with Carroll Shelby years ago and share their heart transplant stories.


Scott runs the media area for Barrett Jackson and also handles the Shelby marketing efforts (he's a busy guy!)

We were honored to meet and make a new friend, Ryan Snyder and Missy McNally. Ryan is an amazingly cool young guy who represents the next generation of muscle car maniacs-and is building an amazing collection of cars.
