Special Order Black Z28

9 Attachment(s)
Last of the solid-lifter Z28s. 1972 Z28 Special Order Tuxedo BLACK, STRIPE DELETE , RALLY SPORT project. GM of Canada documents. Numbers match M22 trans, original 4.10 rear, with super rare VF3 bumper treatment, remarkable original black deluxe cloth interior. D80 spoilers (high 3-piece and front spoiler). Recently had it dry-ice blasted to reveal a sweet undercarriage. It's had a couple re-paints but the body is beautiful EXCEPT for some work required on edge of rear wheel lips.

Engine is NOM, but complete and out of a 1972 Z28 built maybe 4-5 days before this car, so it is perfectly dated and coded, and pretty complete. Both were 01A cars. Will need rebuild. Car is in Southern Ontario, Canada, I will help with customs & shipping.

$35,000 OBO

Door jambs and trunk lid/jambs were never painted over, even though car repainted, so black is obvious. DX3 is an actual code used in 1972 for stripe delete. Double Dash for special paint.

That is a nice project.i would rebuild that engine per 70 lt1 specs with the 11:1 compression. I’m in the process of buying a 72 Monte with factory 454 and it too was special ordered black with double dash code. Glws

The first pictures show the VF3 rubber strip running the entire length of the rear bumper.

That must be extremely rare. I've never seen it before. I didn't even know what I was looking for until you pointed it out.

Especially on an RS car, it is indeed.
