Stainless Trim Repair & Polishing
Hi, I recently lost the shop that I used for many years to repair and polish our stainless trim and I'm looking for a new reputable business to deal with. Would anyone here have any recommendations or provide such a service here? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Thanks.

Hi,
I have heard great things about George: https://www.gtlmetalpolishing.com/ I used a place in Philly many years ago and was very happy with the work but I can't find the POC info. |
Where are you in the states?
|
George is a few towns over from me. Good to know.
|
Bruce Dell is the best.

These guys are 20 minutes from me,been going to Victor since 1980. https://www.courtesymetalpolishing.com/

These guys did an excellent job on some diecast parts. I've used them a few times with great results.

Which of these various recommendations also does aluminum reanodizing? Or farms out the reanodizing but will stand behind it if the anodizing is not up to snuff (since they chose their anodizer, aka a "subcontractor")?
There is one well know guy doing this work (not recommended by anyone in this thread, understandably) who whines to no end if you tell him one of his reanodized parts is too dull or "milky" colored, and then he blames the anodizer that he selected and says it's not his fault and there's nothing he can do about it. Took me over 2 years to get a part corrected by him; and several years later he's still complaining about me making him stand behind his work (that I paid a handsome sum for in the first place). And to make matters worse, during the course of that debate he let it slip that he sent his own personal parts back to that anodizer to redo because of the same issue. So when it is his personal part, he can get the part redone without a fuss. But if it's his paying customer, there's nothing he can do about it! So needless to say we are looking for a better option! |

Same as Bergey, Bruce Dell in OH has done all the trim on our 68 & 69 and have personally seen work he's restored that amazed me. And Bruce is one great person to deal with.
