Nice collection. A ton of Mongooses.

If anyone is interested, there is a bicycle museum in Pittsburgh (https://www.bicycleheaven.org/) that looks like it has some nice stuff as well.

I took special notice of it too, my good friend across the backyard had one...

VERY cool!

That’s cool, I DON’T remember some, they musta been after me, but I grew up in the projects lol

A friend of mine had one of those Rampars as well. Heavy as heck. We all loved it until the real BMX bikes came out and we realized what was best for racing and that definitely wasn't it.

AnthonyS 08-15-2025 07:20 PM

Yeah, heavy, but the suspension was pretty kool...

Cool collection. I had a Yamaha Moto-Bike (the one with the single seat, not the banana seat). It was very heavy but it was cool as hell. Tried one to replace my original but I couldn't fine one.

My brother and I received Honda MX bicycles for xmas in the early/mid seventies. I have done some searches online but cannot find any mention of them. They had front fork suspension and rear shock absorbers. I think I may have photos of them but they may be with my stepmom and she does not offer the family photos for distribution.
If anyone knows/remembers these bikes I would love to see some photos of them.
