67 Camaro Trunk Lid - MINT

11 Attachment(s)
I picked up this 67 camaro trunk lid a few months ago. Based on the cutouts, this is the 2nd design 1967 trunk lid. See CRG for specific explanation to the incremental changes. This trunk lid is stamped T29 (mid July)

I felt confident based on the original condition this was a mint trunk lid. I had it chemically stripped, and yes, perfect. All the orig welded tabs perfect, incremental welds along the back side perfect. What a nice trunk lid to find. I did notice when stripped, there were 2 tiny drill holes about the 1/8 size about 1 1/2 above the lip edge, assumed to be a dealer emblem.

These are evident in the pics - i had them welded up, ground smooth and then epoxy primed the whole deck lid. Look at the pictures to see for yourself. Bolt holes perfect..

For the most discriminating restoration. The pictures provided to give evidence and confidence to the integrity of the trunk lid.

All the hard stuff done - bolt on and fit to your liking.

$1000.00 plus shipping

few more pics,

also - as you can see, never drilled for a spoiler :-) like so many you see today.

That is a really good deal on a near perfect decklid. They were costing $1000.10 years ago and you’ve already done all of the hard work.

still available - best around! look at the pics!

Thats a nice deck lid Eddy. That is really the 3rd design deck for 67. The 1st design only was in production for a few months. then there were two more later in 67 as yours is the 3rd design.
The first two didnt have holes for the spoiler

Emblem holes in the wrong places on both sides. My Z/28 is March 1968....Joe

It would be correct for pretty much all the 67L78's and all the late 67z's. So it could go on a high dollar car and be correct.

let me check - u have a preference for shipping - crate or box??

luzl78 11-15-2025 11:07 PM

Thick box is okay with lots of padding and filler.

I usually use bicycle boxes for trunk lids.....Joe
