I've seen this car several times in person. WOW

When it comes to the 1961-66 Factory Lightweight Drag Car era, the ‘65 RO/ WO Chrysler products were the cream of the crop. Before anybody even mentions T-Bolts or the ‘68 S/S Hemi Darts/Cudas those cars were built by third parties. These ‘65 cars were built on the same assembly line as regular Slant 6 cars.

Bid to $164K.Wonder what the reserve was?$200K maybe?!

Too Many Projects 06-10-2025 09:08 PM

From the seller, doesn't sound like 200k was going to get it either...

Thank you to all who watched, commented and bid on this incredible piece of automotive history. This car deserves a lot more than it realized today.

Most people who grew up with these cars and appreciate the raw power these engines have are in there 80’s and 90’s. Younger generation doesn’t appreciate the primitive speed.

Why would they, when they can walk into a dealership, buy a car with 650-1,000 hp and kick ass on all our old stuff from the first minute they own it... hell you can buy 600 hp "family" SUV's... That doesn't even touch on EV's.
