Muffle Bearing Grease Tool .....

Do you own any guitars Charley? It almost looks like a guitar bridge pin?

big gear head 04-20-2025 12:52 PM

Kind of looks like a pin that holds things together until you get ready to install it. Then you remove the pin and discard it.

Too Many Projects 04-20-2025 01:59 PM

Nothing I recognize. Which vehicle did you drive out/in last ? Might be a place to start looking underneath...:dunno:

markjohnson 04-21-2025 01:49 AM

I’m thinking door hinge pin. Also, garage door hardware possibly.

Shotgun magazine plug that limits the number of shells in the gun?

Charley Lillard 04-21-2025 11:09 PM

None of the above. It is driving me crazy as I keep thinking about it .

Mr70 04-21-2025 11:43 PM

It could be..

You did ask for stupid help. The usual gang of idiots came through. As a charter member of the idiot club, I will give it a shot.

My guess would be a hinge pin. Obviously light duty. You been messing with a light duty cabinet, locker or even a plastic tote with hinged lid or lids?
Mail box?
Toilet seat or lid?
Height adjustment on a mower?
Plastic case for a power tool?
Garbage can?

enio45 04-22-2025 01:43 AM

i see something like this on my small outdoor shed hinge cover, also a bit smaller on the tap and fie set cover - seem anything plastic hinge related.

That video was hilarious

It's a thing for a thing.

Pin for a cooler lid hinge?

Maybe one of your friends decided to play a trick on you and tossed a random part on your floor just to mess with you.

LetsFNgo 04-22-2025 12:23 PM

It’s a dckfer.

ls6owner 04-22-2025 02:54 PM

Looks kinda like the aligning pin that comes with a new Hurst shifter to set the adjustment? When done, it is removed.

Too Many Projects 04-22-2025 04:30 PM

Alignment pin is 1/4", that plastic piece appears to be larger than that...:hmmm:

Charley Lillard 04-22-2025 04:35 PM

The Hurst alignment pins I have used are more like 1/4" and have a 90 degree bend at the end. This is much larger diameter.

Lynn 04-23-2025 02:18 AM

Looks like 3/8 or 10mm in the pics.
