Sad, :( hope she gets it back without too much damage.

Everyone's nightmare. Irresponsible shop owner. Wonder who the insurer is and how this will be settled?

Looks like an inside job. Car is only outside for a few hours and it's stolen ??? I call BS.

That’s exactly what I thought.

Well....that truly sucks! I really hope you get your SS back.
I have to agree with the others, sounds like an inside job.
It disappeared way to quick!

Or in the thief's pocket ??

This lady specifically asked the shop not to leave car outside , ( that sounds like a verbal contract ) if shop owner was not going to fulfill she should have been notified and given opportunity to make other arrangements. I’m not an attorney just my opinion , shop should be responsible for full value of car as well as some pain and suffering her and her family have to endure because of their negligence.

Just read a post on this thread on FB that it had been found. Waiting for more info to know if it true, but hoping so. No word on condition.

Let's hope that it's true.

Suspicious

Shop owner claims a shadowy figure was dropped off April 9th , enters car and breaks lock on the steering wheel. How the hell would he know they broke the lock on the steering wheel from that footage??????
Watch the video and listen to audio

That sucks what an asshole shop owner !!
Thank god I can still fix my own junk!!
Thank god she got it back!!
Don’t let that car out of your sight again!!
Secure the garage it’s in well!

Too Many Projects 04-21-2025 05:27 PM

Very glad and, honestly, surprised she got it back. Hopefully, the damage to the column can be repaired quickly and she can take the car to her Dad before he gets worse.

I have an used column here, I would be willing to donate, if the repair needs parts they can't get quickly.

Glad to hear they found it.Thanks for posting all.

Story still doesn’t add up. Someone steals it, then hides it outside? Even took the time to back it into the spot… didn’t take anything apparently either. Talk about luck in getting it back. Crazy story all around, but happy to hear they found it.

I was thinking the same thing, but the anonymous caller gave her an address to that abandoned home, so it may have been moved there from a hiding place. The whole event kind of smells like 4 day old fish...:dunno:

Smells like "low tide". Happy they got the car back.
