Interesting COPO Camaro on BAT

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...et-camaro-439/

Can't believe this car scored 998 points.

Crappy bolt in upper ball joints. Aftermarket sway bar and links.
Someone added a leaf to the rear springs. Now has six leaves. Sits way high in the back.

Chambered exhaust that was not available.

Fake WS.

Many details missed or done incorrectly.

Are my eyes deceiving me, or does it have puffy aftermarket door panels?

Not sure why a 42k mile car would need new upper ball joints. They rarely wear out.

Sadly, half the comments are about a dealer doc fee. Really?

Guessing resto was done after your ownership?

Born with motor?

Looks like someone drilled the tranny for a drain plug.

L_e_e 01-11-2025 09:54 PM

Did it have a dark green interior when you owned it?

R68GTO 01-11-2025 11:17 PM

The BE stamp looked suspect to me.

What makes it one of one?

I assume color. Can't be too many who would select that combination.

I don't think it was 1 of 1 rare- I've seen both a 69 Z28 and SS396/L78 in that color combo as well.

When i sold this car in 1998 it had the original B E rear end and the original motor it had 41or 42 thousand miles on it .

Eckler's Classic Club judging and scoring ?? I've never seen that "certificate". Anyone know who would have been the judge(s) ??

I was thinking along the same line, and agree, but didn't want to print it, in case it was someone on here... as Bob Seger said...
"Hey, watch where you're goin'
Step light on old toes
'Cause until you've been beside a man
You don't know who he knows"

Judges can’t be very knowledgeable if obvious flaws are not addressed and deducted.
