This might turn into a rebody/tag move.

The only sensible way to not be at the bottom of the Mariana Trench with that one.

"this car is beat, like nasty beat.." understatement...

VIN obscured but anyone ever needing to dig for the truth;
If DBP-308 Plate in the one pic from subject also depending when last registered for the road, the Plate # + $20 at any Ontario Motor Vehicles location may gain a History Report w/ VIN also past owners etc.:scholar:

I'm not a member of that group, so couldn't see the rest of the pics. Is the vin even there ? ...or the trim tag ?...
Seller must have had some way to get the vin for the vintage report.

No Tag pics or Vin noted, seller has all but keeping private for Rebody Buyers?:mad2:
It’s on F-Book Marketplace too, try this link….

Wowwww… what a shame..

I have come to appreciate these more since my buddy has probably a 1 of 1 super loaded 4-door 427 caprice for sale. It has super cool hideaways, power everything and even vigilante lights on the fenders.

Canadian paperwork is so awesome . Bummer Chevy did not keep the same records on all of its cars. Would take a bit of courage to save this car !

If I was into these cars, for the price I'd pick it up and just store it. She's rough but special.

BJCHEV396 04-15-2024 04:22 AM

Pretty sad shape.It's not even considered a "project" in my opinion.

seventyLs5 04-15-2024 04:31 PM

Not sure it would be worth fixing even if it was a L72 car. Man that thing is bad.

Too Many Projects 04-15-2024 05:31 PM

The car WAS special, but the only evidence I see of that is the 427 fender tag and I wouldn't be surprised if the seller added that for the pic. I don't see why the original would still be on the car when everything else usable, including the instrument panel/ dash has been brutally cut out and removed. Between all the good stuff missing and the extent of the rust from nature, it's like a skeleton in the desert, where all that's left is scattered bones, after the vultures have picked them clean, drying to dust in the sun and blowing away in the wind.
