69 Camaro Car Cover...

Need a little help for Santa...

Looking at a new car cover for Karen's 69 SS Camaro...car has cowl hood, deck lid spoiler, both side mirrors. She just has a generic cover now...looking to get a form fitting cover like the one on her Berger. Outdoor and inside use...

Thanks...wilma :santa:

Tom, they’re not cheap but Cal Car Covers make a flannel lined indoor cover that is outstanding. I’ve bought about a dozen of these covers for my clients over the years.

https://www.calcarcover.com

Select the year/make/model, color, and you can even have it embroidered with custom lettering like “1969 Camaro SS”

Highly recommended

Dan

X2 I have one for my car and am very happy with it.

does it leave any fine scratches on the paint from installing and removing it

X3 I have the same exact California car cover...you won't be disappointed!

Does not scratch the paint unless you put it on a dirty car in the first place

car cover...

Thanks for the feedback...

Big thing is a cover that is 'form-fitted' to the car...the elastic hem is important.

The 69 is always stored indoors, except when she takes it for the day on a golf outing. The idea is to protect the car from the sun, tree sap, bird poop, and whatever else comes along. The same cover would be used indoors...

Not sure if this helps but I use to love their dustop cover for indoors. That cover got discontinued and their replacement for that one I wasn't that impressed especially how costly it was. I would definitely search around at all options besides calcover. I think carcovers.com or something like that had a better cover and less money....at least for my needs. Good luck.

Same experience here, the Dustop covers were great. Replacement, not so much...

I bought a form fit flannel cover for my 67 Camaro from D&R 25 years ago and it’s been a good product. They list one for a 69 on sale now for 325.00. Don’t know if it’s same as mine but maybe something you could check on. Real soft flannel and does not scratch paint.

Tom, look into the Noah cover from (California Car Cover). It's a outdoor cover, can be used indoors also. Have two of these for the Novas, great covers.

Agreed, California Car Cover. I’ve had them for years.

69 Camaro cover...

That cover looks great...I assume it is an 'indoor only' style??

boomer632 11-28-2023 04:56 PM

Yes its indoor cover with the soft flannel lining.

I think you and I have talked about L78 timing before. I have L78 too.
