My new 8 second Lucid Sapphire
 

Probably the best and most fun car I have ever owned. A luxury 4 door sedan that breaks into the 8's in the 1/4 mile. What a bullet. I was lucky enough to get one of the first 6 sold to the public and they had a special day yesterday at Infineon raceway for us to take delivery. These cars do everything well.

Yes I have the Lucid Air Dream. As of today I plan on selling my Porsche Turbo S I have in Az and moving the Dream down there to replace it.

Love the blue and the different wheels on the Sapphire. Congrats on owning that monster.

That was Tyler. He sold his Dream on BAT at no reserve to make room for a Sapphire. He also took delivery yesterday. He was a pioneer in robotic arms and subs to service deep sea oil rigs.

At home I have a 50 amp plug and it will fully charge it overnight. On the road the Supercharger stations that I haven't used yet can charge 300 miles range in 20 minutes. Lucid is one of the few using a 900 volt system.

Well thought out combo, Doug's video shows how big the brakes are on these.

It takes one hell of a lot of safety equipment (and modifications) to be allowed (and capable) to run 8 seconds at a track.

Cage, driveshaft loop, etc etc etc and etc etc. These Sapphire cars are absolutely insane.

Drop the wife and kids off at church then silently spank ANY hot shot in ANY car on ANY street in North America ...unreal. I won't even mention the massive heart attack your insurance agent most certainly had when you told him of your latest purchase ;)

Some of the track regulations on new cars recognize newer cars are safer than old cars (air bags).

With a curb weight of 5300 lbs. without passengers, you need massive brakes to stop it. I’d guess tires and brakes will not last very long on a car this heavy, especially driving spiritedly.

In daily driving I rarely use the brake pedal. It uses regenerative braking to slow the car down and converts the energy back into the battery. You can adjust how much regen you want.

Angry guy for being ignored. Bring the Tesla to a road course. Or sit inside both cars.
