Mecum add says Chuck Huber restored it.

I am pretty sure this car was owned by Joe Zrostic( poor spelling) on my part

That's a name from the past. Believe he was friends with Dave B. years back and attended at least one for the SCR's maybe 15+ years ago.

Yes, Joe Z aquired this ZL1 and had it restored. It was displayed @ MCACN once completed. It is a very nice restoration in typical Chuck Huber / Paul Cupp style of restoration.

I believe this is the same ZL-1?

Bruce you may indeed be correct. It was prior to MCACN when NicKey was title Sponsor of the Vette Fest and Mr Ashton had recently taken over management of that event. Time flys when your having fun.
