Charlotte metro area. I should go buy it but I have too much junk I will never use now.

That's about an hour from me. If I were in the market for an engine I would check it out. I just sold a 70 Chevelle 396 engine that I've had laying around for around 15 years.

It’s about 2 1/2 hours from me, I’m in Charleston. The motor in my Camaro now (non original 396) has been in the car about 20 years. It’s getting close to rebuild time, just don’t know present bore of my motor. Rob

Not sure I understand the ad...if this is a long block with extras might be worth a look. :hmmm:

It looks like the block is the only good part. Nothing else is correct for a L-78

Just sold standard bore l78 with 840 heads dimple rods pistons pulleys,timing cover for 1200,from 68 camaro.

The heads are worth $1200.

Had this around from 70s was time to go heads and block never machined.Had it advertised couple months no calls
figured everyone rushing to Ls swaps.Did keep slanted valve covers other small items,maybe buyer will put it to use.

It amazes me the price I see on some small items,
the heads were dated H27.

Out of curiosity, where did you advertise it?
