Hey Dave, thanks for the help on the photo! The car is in a private museum and quite dusty at the moment. It was purchased in 1990 by a great older friend of mine and tucked away. (Always mechanically maintained). It has 90% original paint (fender repaint due to a deer strike) and components, even down to the original air cleaner and belts. It currently has a bit over 4300 miles. Here is a picture but it is being looked at currently by a prospective buyer so I won’t post too many.

Wow they are still out there!!

Best we can do
No specific breakdown of K66 by engine. Total of 426 units with K66. Total of 82 units with K19 that were V8s

Wow...Can I have it ?
|
Cool car.

----Can't be many as smog wasn't manditory in California until after January 1st 1966. At least that's always been my understanding. What a neat piece this Nova is. The transistor ignition just adds frosting to the cake, and then the great color as well. Surprising that there are any low mileage cars in California as everybody seems to drive year around, but here is this L79!.....Bill S

Of course for a price! Ha

A guy bought this one with plans to tour the country, was frustrated with the poor fuel mileage and added an additional 10 gal tank to the trunk then got scared when a deer hit him in the front quarter. That’s the only new paint on the vehicle. He then sold it to a collector in Pomona then it came here to the East Coast into the museum

MORE PICS! MORE PICS! MORE PICS!
Great looking car! I'm guessing your PM box is already overloaded by now! Please "screen" the buyer to make sure they are not one of those idiots who would go have this car repainted!! Or get out their spray can to "touch up" the engine bay or chassis. There are many qualified buyers on this site who would properly preserve this car! |
did tim mishlan own this car at one time?
|
Tim M's aztec bronze 350hp 66 had metallic brakes. This one is a standard brake car code BS 3.31 posi 12 bolt
